Gally, killed in an explosion orchestrated by Desty Nova, is revived in Tiphares by the resourceful yet cunning scientist. It is here that she learns of the turbulent civil war plaguing the floating city, sparked by the revelation of brain biochips - the substitute for organic human brains developed by Tiphareans.
